ORANGE PEEL Chutney

Ingredients required:

1. Orange peel - of 1 orange
2. Red chillies- 3 to 4
3. Urad dal - 1 tsp
4. Channa dal - 1 tsp
5. Oil - 1 tsp
6. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
7. Curry leaves - 4
8. Tamarind - 1 lemon sized
9. Jaggery - 3 tbsp
10. Grated coconut - 1/2 cup

Method:

 Step 1 - In a frying pan add 1/2 tsp of oil and once oil is hot add urad dal, channa dal and redchillies to it and fry it until dal's change their color.

Step 2 - Take a mixer jar and add orange peel, tamarind , fried dal mixture and coconut to it. Grind it dry to a course form. Now add little water then salt and make them to a fine paste.

Step 3 -  In a pan take 1/2 tsp oil and once oil is hot add mustard seeds and curry leaves to it. Once mustard seeds starts spluttering add chutney, jaggery and sufficent water to it. Now stir it well until it gets one boil . Now chutney is ready

Orange peel chutney is ready to serve with hot rice.

NOTE: This chutney can be stored in fridge for 4 to 5 days
